Creative Educators Institute

MIAD’s Summer Creative Educators Institute (CEI) is an intense, immersive, and exciting exploration that recharges your creativity and reminds you of what it feels like to be an artist and a student. Network with other educators, develop a professional portfolio, generate curricular ideas for classroom projects, and get the credit you deserve! Earn up to four undergraduate or three graduate non-matriculating credits.

Continuing Education and Creative Educators Institute Registration Policies

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes are kept small to facilitate individual instruction. Early registration is strongly recommended. A minimum number of registrations (usually 8) must be received for a class to be held. Class tuition and fees must be paid in full to guarantee enrollment in a course.

Cancellation/Withdrawal

If MIAD’s Pre-College Program cancels a class, your fee will be refunded in full. If a student wishes to drop a class, a refund, minus a $15 processing fee for each fall or spring semester class, or a refund minus the $100 deposit fee for the summer program, is granted if notification of withdrawal is received in writing on or before the registration deadline. Refunds will not be granted after that time.

Any class cancelled due to weather, instructor illness or other circumstance will be rescheduled one to two weeks after the conclusion of the class. There is no prorating of tuition if the student cannot attend the make up session.

Registration Confirmation

A letter or e-mail of confirmation will follow receipt of a completed registration. Downloadable supply lists for fall and spring classes are posted on the pre-college webpage.
