What is it?

This workshop introduces the fundamentals of Illustration through applied studies in process, communication, and presentation. Students explore professional illustration practices while developing creative skills. Working individually in the discovery process, concluding with presenting their artwork, design process, and identity as a creative individual.

Supplies

Supplies for the Illustration Future Creatives project are fully provided by MIAD. A Visual Research Packet will be provided to each student, as well as colored pencils for all to use.

Agenda

Day 1: Visual Storytelling presentation, individual brainstorming
Day 2: Creative futures in art & design presentation, students share projects

In between visits, students will need a workday on the project during a class when MIAD is not on-site.
